Lisa’s blog

For my first blog, I decided I wanted to come up with a short poem about my career.

 The Cosmetology field is a wonderful career to me

I wanted others to be able to see

Sharing how it feels to make customers look and feel great

For me, I feel is truly my fate

I have been a mentor to staff members in my salon for many years

To watch them grow and prosper brings to me joyous tears

So, this brings me to why a teacher I became

To pass on my knowledge to kids that feel the same

The willingness to learn from the experience I give

Makes it all worthwhile for the life I live.
